Welcome to Vibe Bun. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the vibebun.com website, our Shopify apps (Vibe SEO Meta, Vibebun Image Optimizer), our WordPress plugins (Vibe AI SEO Meta), our documentation site (docs.vibebun.com), and any related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Definitions

• "Vibe Bun," "we," "our," or "us" refers to the operator of the Services.
• "You" or "your" refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Services.
• "Apps" refers to our Shopify applications and WordPress plugins distributed through their respective marketplaces.
• "Content" refers to text, images, data, and other materials generated, uploaded, or processed through the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use our Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account and Access

Our Shopify apps are accessed through your Shopify admin account, and our WordPress plugins are installed on your self-hosted WordPress site. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your platform accounts and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your access credentials or allow unauthorized third parties to use the Services on your behalf.

4. Use of the Services

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

• Use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Services beyond their intended functionality
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Services without our written consent
• Use the Services to generate, store, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or infringing

5. AI-Generated Content

Certain features of our Apps use third-party AI models (including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, and Google Gemini) to generate meta titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, and other SEO content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated suggestions are provided as drafts for your review — you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before it is published to your store or website
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose
• You retain full ownership of and responsibility for any content published to your store or website, whether manually written or AI-assisted
• When using the "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) feature, you are subject to the terms and usage policies of the respective AI provider whose API key you supply

6. Image Optimization

Our Vibebun Image Optimizer app compresses and replaces images on your Shopify store's CDN. You acknowledge that:

• Optimization modifies image files in place on Shopify's infrastructure — original files are preserved temporarily for rollback, subject to the expiry period you configure
• Once the rollback expiry period passes, original images are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered through our Services
• We are not liable for any image quality loss, broken references, or data loss resulting from optimization, including cases where rollback originals have expired
• You are responsible for maintaining independent backups of your image assets

7. Subscription Plans and Billing

Our Apps offer free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed through the respective platform's billing system (Shopify App Billing for Shopify apps). By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable fees as displayed at the time of subscription
• Recurring billing on a monthly cycle until you cancel
• Plan-specific usage limits (optimizations, AI suggestions, bulk operations) that reset on each billing cycle

We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after notification.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

You may downgrade to the free plan or cancel your subscription at any time through your platform's admin panel (e.g., Shopify Admin). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. Upon cancellation, your account reverts to free-tier limits, and any features exclusive to paid plans become unavailable.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Services — including software, design, documentation, logos, and trademarks — are owned by Vibe Bun or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, branding, or other intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Services as intended.

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or manage through the Services, including product data, images, and metadata.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Third-Party Services

Our Services integrate with third-party platforms and APIs, including Shopify, WordPress, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and cloud storage providers (AWS S3, DigitalOcean Spaces, Cloudflare R2). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

12. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes that affect paid subscriptions.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vibe Bun shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will meet your specific requirements, that SEO improvements or performance gains will result from use of the Services, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your needs.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vibe Bun, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to our Services, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including liability limitations, indemnification, and intellectual property) will remain in effect.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal proceedings.
